Buttons Again

One thing we can do is make the play and pause buttons act as one button. You do this by putting them on top of each other. We'll do that, move the stop button over and resize the overlay. So more changes to the "setup.as":

overlay.setSize(34,15);

btnPlay.setSkin('play_png');
btnPlay.move(0,0);
btnPause.setSkin('pause_png');
btnPause.move(0,0);
btnStop.setSkin('stop_png');
btnStop.move(17,0);
So now your setup.as should look like this:

AssetManager.registerBitmapDataAsset(new BitmapData(2,2,false,0xaaaaaa),'under');
underlay.setSkin('under');
underlay.setSize(_width,_height);
underlay.move(0,0);

setDisplay(10,10,_width-20,_height-20,0x000000);

AssetManager.registerBitmapDataAsset(new BitmapData(5,5,false,0xffffff), 'over');
overlay.setSkin('over');
overlay.move(0,0);
overlay.setSize(34,15);

btnPlay.setSkin('play_png');
btnPlay.move(0,0);
btnPause.setSkin('pause_png');
btnPause.move(0,0);
btnStop.setSkin('stop_png');
btnStop.move(17,0);

Open KoolMoves and save file as 'SWF/Flash Movie'. Close KoolMoves. Open up your "test.html" and you have two little buttons now. Let's finish up by adding "next" and "last" buttons. Again with the changes. Here's your images:

prev.png  next.png

Which you add to your "imagelist.txt" file:

prev.png
next.png

For the extra buttons, add this under the last button in the "setup.as":

btnPrev.setSkin('prev_png');
btnPrev.move(34,0);
btnNext.setSkin('next_png');
btnNext.move(51,0);
To re-size the overlay:
overlay.setSize(68,15);

Of course, if you have previous and next buttons, you have to have somewhere for them to go. So open up KoolMoves and from the MP properties, select 'Playlist' and add a couple of more movies. Save and Close KoolMoves. Open your "test.html" and you have four visible buttons. A usable Media Player. Still not enough??? O.K.
